After collecting essential project information, our sales team ascertains functionality requirements, budget constraints, aesthetic preferences, and technology needs, incorporating each to produce a fully functional design that is the best value for your AV furniture needs.
Coordination, communication, and collaboration consistently take place between our design, production, and engineering departments, to both facilitate an understanding and trust between sales and manufacturing and lend additional support when a coordinated effort between a designer, craftsman, and master finisher is needed to ensure success.

Sales, Design and Customer Service

Our sales and design team work alongside clients, dealers, AV consultants, architects, and designers to help ensure all deliverables meet the owner’s needs, fit the technology requirements, and adhere to AWI construction guidelines. Throughout the pre-production process, pricing, designs, and lead times will be updated according to requested changes to ensure all expectations are met prior to ordering.

Purchasing, Sales and Supplier Support
Marshall Furniture's purchasing, sales and support teams are in constant communication with our suppliers to procure new resources and trending materials in order to expand product offerings for our sales and design team. The support team also works with our suppliers on individual projects to price and coordinate delivery for items such as hardware, solid surfaces, and special order requirements, like exotic woods.


3D CAD Design and Value Engineering

Marshall Furniture's sales and design staff work closely with clients to generate 3D design drawings that reflect project parameters, often collaborating with engineering throughout the process. Once these drawings are approved and an order is placed, we use Inventor 3D solid modeling for our engineer and build design drawings. This is an extra step in assuring the design is final prior to build and also provides feedback from engineering if design changes need to be implemented.

Manufacturing
Our manufacturing department is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to accommodate projects of any size. Multiple CNC machines handle orders, including one nested base CNC router, one full cell, and one machining center. Once pieces are cut, multiple edge banding machines are put to work, including an industrial 3 shift bander with boomerang conveyor. The machine room is also equipped with multiple case clamps, which are implemented for specific designs and products.


Craftsmanship

The heart of Marshall Furniture lies with our team of highly skilled and professional craftsmen, who spend countless hours creating your furniture by hand from scratch. Expertise, perfection, and proficiency are put into every build. From start to finish, attention to detail is our specialty.

Master Finishing
Our finishing department puts the final touches on your piece prior to shipment. We offer 23 standard wood finishes but custom matching is available to match more specific aesthetic requirements. Our master finishers can custom stain your piece to match the room or another piece of furniture in the space thanks to our cutting edge spectrum analyzer, which evaluates the control sample submitted prior to production. Based on the results of this analysis, our finishing department will create a matching sample for approval, which is obtained prior to final build.


Quality Control

After the many phases of design and build, we take extra steps to assure your product is in perfect condition for use. Several phases of quality control are implemented prior to shipping.

Logistics
Our logistics team works diligently to ensure each shipment is adequately packaged and protected to ensure a safe furniture delivery. Our team is knowledgeable in domestic and international shipments and can handle both standard-sized and over-sized shipments. Furniture is shipped using our tri wall corrugated containers or custom-made wooden crates, which are always labeled and insured for high value.
